Emballator Metal Group is in the middle of a very exciting change process. We currently have a very large market share in northern Europe within our area of expertise; quality-leading packaging in tinplate. Our HQ is based in Ulricehamn, Sweden. This position is located at our office and production site in Lempälä, Finland.
In your role as Area Sales Manager you will be our Ambassador in a geographic area covering several countries. You will be responsible for developing and driving sales to new and existing customers in the Baltics and parts of Eastern Europe.
You will be part of a Nordic Sales Team, reporting to the Sales Director placed in Ulricehamn, Sweden.
The job as Area Sales Manager comes with a quite large portion of autonomy and requires a skill from you to work independently when needed. Your own performance and results will of course be measured, but most important for us is that you are a team member where our common work and results is what really counts.
One very important aspect of your job as Area Sales Manager is to be our eyes and ears into to local markets. You are interested in business development on a broader scale and do have experience in cultural differences that impact how business is being done in your area of sales responsibility. We want you to be a part of long term business planning as well, which will require your know-how, experience, analytical capabilities and smart conclusions. Naturally, you will be the person who knows the strengths and weaknesses of our competitors. In short, you are a person who likes to find out things and sort out facts, rather than the kind of person who needs to be presented facts and requires clear instructions.
This is the right job for a salesperson who is genuinely interested and talented in building new business, yet at the same time thourough in following up with existing customers and making sure that we as a company deliver on our promise to help our customers grow their business.
Normally, the job and role will require some travel to customers and events/exhibitions where you and the team have decided to promote our business.
Background? An absolute must for this role is a well documented and proven track record of B2B sales to companies with own production where those companies need a reliable partner for packaging.
Personal Skills? You are a natural born salesperson who easily builds and improve relationships with customers as well as coworkers. Proactivity is key, and a good sense of humour and wit takes you the extra mile both at work and in your private life.
You work hinder-less in common software such as MS Office, CRM-system and feel comfortable meeting customers and colleagues online. Actually, the right candidate embraces the possibilities of digitalization and is a very proficient user in terms of on-line meetings.
You speak and write fluent Finnish and English. Other language skills are a plus, especially Russian as we know that this language (and culture) has had an impact on the Baltics and of course Eastern Europe at large. It is a plus if you also master Swedish in conversation. Driving license is a requirement.
